Basic Function

WHO WE ARE:Pinnacle Premix provides premixing, manufacturing, and distribution of formulated products to every sector of the feed industry. Our Hereford location is locally managed and manufactures premix for feed and pet food.

This position will be the first point of contact for the Pinnacle Premix facility located in Hereford, TX. In addition to providing superior service to external visitors and customers, this position will be responsible for providing administrative support to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for general office operations including:
    • Answer and route incoming telephone calls.
    • Ensure filing systems are up to date and all relevant documents are scanned and archived.
    • Coordinate and maintain the appropriate level of inventory for office supplies, brochures, and promotional items.
    • Assist with company protocols and on site procedures and implementation to employees.
  • Greet all visitors; ensure that their arrival is properly documented and that the relevant parties are notified. Provide them with the required Personal Protective Equipment and visitor guidelines to uphold food safety and protective safety regulations.
  • Communicate with corporate headquarters on customers, vendors, and orders as necessary.
  • Handle Hereford internal communications, organize, track vendors and customers
  • Communicate with vendors and customers
  • Assist with coordination of customer and vendor visits.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as requested by management.
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service and/or administrative support experience.
Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Access).
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task in what can sometimes be a high-pressure environment
Physical Requirments
  • Frequently required to: sit for prolonged periods of time, reach for/manipulate standard office equipment, communicate with various staff and/or reach for and manipulate objects.
  • Regularly moves items weighing up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Environment
  • Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
