The Education Access Service (EAS) seeks an Administration Officer to work under the guidance of the Leaders within the service. The role focuses on administrative duties with emphasis on legal aspects of EAS work and requires careful adherence to governance and safeguarding procedures.
You will support your manager with actions related to legislation and financial administration concerning Attendance, Inclusion and Safeguarding for children and young people.
The primary focus of the post will be to work under the direction of the Leaders in the Education Access Service (EAS) as part of the professional team. Within an agreed system of supervision, the Administration Officer will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties including a focus on legal aspects of work undertaken by EAS.
The post holder will support their manager with actions that relate to legislation and financial administration with regards to Attendance, Inclusion and Safeguarding procedures. The post holder will be expected to progress actions and outcomes regarding young people/their families, recording and reporting as agreed with their manager and in accordance with national and local strategies, policies and plans for children and young people supported by the service.
