Maybury Primary School is seeking an Administration Officer to join a busy school office team. You will handle a broad range of high-level administrative duties, manage pupil admissions, maintain accurate records in Arbor MIS and provide data-driven insights to staff.
The role requires strong organisational and safeguarding awareness, with GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent. Permanent, term time plus five days contract, with a start date as soon as possible.
Grade & Scale point: 4, SCP 5-7
Salary: £26,428 - £27,274 FTE, £22,752 - £23,480 Actual, £13.70 - £14.14/hr
Hours of work: 37 hrs/wk, Monday – Thursday, 8am-4pm, Friday, 8am-3.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term time + 5 days (195 days)
Start date: As soon as possible following pre-employment checks

You will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including managing pupil admissions, maintaining accurate records within our MIS (Arbor), providing meaningful pupil data to staff, and supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the school. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, experience of working collaboratively with children and colleagues, and an understanding of safeguarding practices. A first aid qualification would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
