Overview

We are currently looking for a Admin Assistant to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Oral Health promotion admin and clinical teams delivering a broad range of large‑scale community outreach programmes. You will act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the clinical teams on school intervention programme visits during the academic year and during school term breaks, offering admin support to the Project teams and clinics as and when needed.
  • Support the teams in multiple boroughs across North East London if the need should arise.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and inform the Project Support Officers when stock is running low.
  • Support a cohesive team approach and be able to develop and strengthen working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm, working independently, proactively and under pressure.
  • Act as a professional contact point for all enquiries with the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and empathy.
  • Travel around London to provide project field support for clinical staff applying fluoride varnish programmes and other outreach programmes as and when required to meet Service need.
Qualifications & Skills

A positive attitude, excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service is essential.

Eligibility

Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
