A leading company in appliance repairs is looking for an Apprentice Administration Assistant in Brighton. You'll support daily operations and develop essential skills in business administration through hands-on training, with opportunities for permanent employment upon successful completion. The role offers a £9.00 hourly rate, working 37 hours weekly.

As an Apprentice Administration Assistant at Upfix Appliance Repairs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring seamless administrative processes. This hands-on training opportunity will provide you with valuable experience in various aspects of business administration, allowing you to develop essential skills and contribute to the growth of our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing office tasks, including data entry, filing, and document organisation.
• Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communications.
• Help schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for engineers through emails and calls.
• Collaborate with different departments to facilitate effective cross-functional communication.
• Participate in team meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Support with maintaining office supplies and inventory management.
• Assist in creating and updating records and databases.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
You will be able to demonstrate your interest and commitment to developing a career in Business, along with clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal and good IT skills including data entry and Microsoft packages.
Maths & English GCSE at grade 4 or above are desired, but not essential.
You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship.
As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in business administration.
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
The pay rate for this role is £9.00 Per Hour with a 3 month review.Please ensure you are able to commute Monday - Friday to the office-based role at Plus X Offices on Lewes Road BN2 4GL.The office hours are 8 am to 5.30 pm and the hours of work are 37 per week.
You will achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.There are opportunities for permanent employment and further development.
