NHS is seeking an Administrative Support staff member for its Navigo Services in Grimsby. This role involves providing efficient administrative support, working on various tasks such as data entry, managing enquiries, and maintaining positive relationships with service users and colleagues. Candidates should possess GCSEs and a working knowledge of hospital procedures, with flexibility and teamwork emphasized.
Thepost-holder will work across Navigo Services as need dictates and on an ad-hocbasis as agreed to meet organisational need.
Members ofthe admin bank will assist in ensuring the service experienced is positive andservice user confidentiality is maintained at all times. Treat all visitorsi.e. service users, families/carers, colleagues and all visitors with respect,dignity, courtesy and in accordance with Navigo Values.
Thepost-holder will be responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge on Navigopolicies, process and procedures and working within these at all times.
Thepost-holder will assist in administrative duties under direction from the AdminManager and Senior Administration staff within the provision of teamrequirements.
The post-holder will undertakerelevant duties required from time to time as requested by Management whichcorrespond to the general character of the post and is commensurate with thelevel of responsibility
To provide an efficient and effectiveadministrative/clerical support service across all areas of Infrastructure andOperational Services as required.
To provide an efficient and effective front lineservice to clients, staff, external agencies and members of the public, face toface, on the telephone and electronically.
To work within the Administrative Teams thatsupport services undertaking a range of routine admin duties underdirection i.e. photocopying, scanning and word etc
To undertake routine documentation processing ifrequired in area of service i.e. data entry of invoices which are collated,checked and recorded according to set guidelines
To undertake a range of accurate and well-presentedword processing duties and data inputting on the electronic system
To ensure that filing systems, (both manual andelectronic) are kept up to date and are accurate
To deal with a wide range of enquiries from thepublic and staff members, both face to face, over the telephone andelectronically, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in an efficientmanner, maintaining confidentiality at all times
To maintain excellent working relationshipswith all staff within the Teams, other employees, partner agencies and anyvisitors to the service areas
To ensure health and safety procedures areadhered to and actioned as necessary
To maintain confidentiality atall times and to comply with the Data Protection Act and Access to HealthRecords procedures
To comply with Health and SafetyRegulations and work within the policy guidelines of Navigo and maintain an upto date and proficient working knowledge of Navigo policies
To effectively manage compliancein mandatory training within the guidelines of Navigo
