This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive, and client-focused individual to join a successful financial planning team. Working closely with several Financial Advisers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting the efficient management of client relationships, business processing, and regulatory requirements.
The role would suit someone with a genuine interest in financial services, strong administrative skills, and a passion for providing outstanding support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary contact for client administration and onboarding activities, ensuring a seamless client journey.
- Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance checks in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Accurately upload and maintain client records, including digitising Client Financial Reviews (CFRs) and updating internal systems.
- Process new business applications from submission through to completion, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently.
- Liaise with clients to obtain outstanding documentation, application forms, and funds required to progress cases.
- Prepare and draft Suitability Reports and associated documentation for investment recommendations.
- Monitor and manage the new business pipeline, tracking cases and resolving any issues to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate client communications, including birthday greetings, electronic correspondence, and postal enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with advisers, administration teams, and external providers to resolve operational and client-related queries.
- Process policy servicing requests, including encashments, surrenders, and premium amendments.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date client information across all systems and records.
- Assist with client events, marketing activities, and broader team support initiatives.
- Support the firm's paperless working practices through effective document management and digital record keeping.
- Contribute to business improvement projects and provide general administrative support as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a financial services environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional, personable, and confident communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Proven experience in an administrative or client support role.
- An understanding of the expectations and service requirements of high-net-worth clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Background in administration, client servicing, customer support, financial planning support, or a similar role within the industry.
