A leading community NHS Trust is seeking two Administration Assistants to join their team at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital is looking for two friendly, experienced Administration Assistants to join our team on Main Reception.
These are both part time posts (15 hours per week, two days per week (MONDAYS & FRIDAYS) at 7.5 hours per day), with the opportunity to cover additional shifts during colleagues' annual leave/sickness.
We are looking for someone with reception/administration background, and cash handling experience, who is hard working, committed, and thrives in a team environment.

This post would suit a highly motivated and organised individual, as they will undertake many roles including; greeting and booking in visitors, answering the telephone, cash handling & online banking, booking meeting rooms & Audiology appointments, typing (using MS Office software), franking and sorting post, data input and various other administrative duties. They will also be liaising with patients' next of kin following inpatient deaths, so a calm and compassionate nature is essential. Please note: this is NOT a counselling role, it is purely administration tasks.
The applicants must be conversant with Microsoft packages and have good keyboard skills.
The applicants should be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels. They should be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team, be able to deal with difficult situations calmly and able to use their initiative.
Experience of working in the NHS would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
