Cognita, in partnership with Alleyn’s Hampstead, is hiring an Admin Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the school. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, handling pupil records, attendance processes, enquiries, and event administration.
Working with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff, you will help maintain accurate information across systems and contribute to a welcoming, professional environment during term time and holidays.
Cognita has formed a partnership with the Alleyn’s Schools Group to establish two leading independent day schools in north London. This pioneering collaboration brings together one of the world’s most influential education groups, Cognita, which educates over 100,000 students across 21 countries, and Alleyn’s, south London’s finest co-educational day school and Co-educational School of the Year 2025. As part of this partnership, North Bridge House Regent’s Park Prep and North Bridge House Hampstead became Alleyn’s schools. Alleyn’s Regent’s Park successfully transitioned in September 2025, welcoming pupils aged 3–11. Alleyn’s Hampstead followed in September 2026, offering an exceptional education for pupils aged 2–18 and bringing the distinctive Alleyn’s ethos of academic excellence, creativity, and care to north London. The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin Officer to join our fantastic team.
As an Admin Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the school. Acting as one of the first points of contact for pupils, parents, staff, visitors, and external stakeholders, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will undertake a broad range of administrative duties, including maintaining pupil records, supporting attendance processes, responding to enquiries, coordinating correspondence, and assisting with the administration of school activities, clubs, and events. Working closely with teaching staff, the Senior Leadership Team, and colleagues across the wider school community, you will contribute to the effective operation of the school and help ensure information is maintained accurately across internal systems.
This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) position.
You will be an organised and self-motivated administrator with strong communication and customer service skills. You will be confident managing a varied workload, able to multitask effectively, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment. You will have experience in a similar administrative role and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, including excellent email etiquette. A positive and supportive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Experience working with children would be an advantage, as would degree-level education or a First Aid at Work qualification.
