Job description

Position

We are seeking a highly organized individual to serve as the backbone of administrative support for the Jamie Oliver Cookery School and the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group.

This is a part-time (4 days per week), permanent role, starting as soon as possible. Please submit a Cover Letter and CV via our Careers page to be considered.

The Admin and Reservations Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the Customer Service team in managing reservations, responding to customer inquiries, and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. This role is key in delivering excellent customer service and effective reservation management.

Your responsibilities include:

Reservations Management:
  • Handle all incoming reservation requests promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain and update the reservations system to reflect current bookings and availability.
  • Optimize the reservations process to maximize occupancy and efficiency.
  • Monitor third-party booking platforms for seamless integration with the internal system.
Customer Service Support:
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person professionally and courteously.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to reservations, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Assist in implementing customer service policies and procedures.
Administrative Duties:
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Coordinate training sessions and team meetings as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications to keep staff informed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in similar administrative or reservations roles in customer-focused environments.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer-centric approach.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Proactive, positive attitude, and commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
