Job summary

Syngenta is seeking an experienced DMPK/ADME Technical Expert to join the Analytical Metabolism and Methods (AMM) group at Jealott’s Hill in the UK. You will lead ADME/PK/TK study designs, interpret complex data, and support registration of crop protection products, working with CROs and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will collaborate with toxicologists, modellers and metabolism specialists, contributing technical guidance, GLP-adherent studies, and regulatory insights to drive

Qualifications

• Degree in biology or chemistry; GLP-compliant studies experience.
• Strong DMPK/ADME knowledge including PK/TK concepts.
• Familiarity with OECD 417 and global regulatory guidelines.
• Translate complex datasets into safety/regulatory insights.
• Practical PK/TK knowledge, incl. non-compartmental analysis (NCA).
• Proven ability to work with CROs and external partners.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills promptly.
• Experience with in vitro/in vivo xenobiotic metabolism advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing CRO delivery and study strategy documentation.
• Delivering technical insights from ADME and PK/TK data.
• Applying regulatory guidance to optimise study designs.
• Partnering with CROs to transfer knowledge.
• Leading development of new processes and templates.
• Contributing as a scientific expert across metabolism teams.
