ADHDTest.co.uk is an innovative digital health provider transforming ADHD diagnosis and care in the UK. We provide clinically robust assessments and treatment plans for adults, with a focus on accessibility, speed, and compassion.

We’re now expanding our leadership team and looking for a Clinical Lead to help shape and oversee our clinical services as we scale.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership to our growing team of ADHD assessors, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance across our services. You will work closely with our founder, operations, and tech teams to guide service delivery, support quality improvement, and help us scale safely and effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced clinician who is passionate about adult ADHD care and wants to influence the future of digital mental health in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across all assessment and treatment pathways.
• Supervise, support, and mentor ADHD assessors.
• Develop and maintain clinical protocols in line with NICE guidelines and best practice.
• Oversee clinical governance including audits, safeguarding, complaints handling, and quality assurance.
• Review complex or borderline diagnostic cases and support diagnostic decision-making where needed.
• Work with the wider team to review and improve patient experience, clinical pathways, and internal tools.
• Ensure full compliance with professional and regulatory standards (e.g. GMC, HCPC, CQC, GDPR).
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training new clinicians as the service grows.
• Participate in strategy development as a senior leader in the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

• A UK-registered mental health professional (e.g. Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, or experienced GP with ADHD expertise).
• Minimum 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience, including significant ADHD assessment experience.
• Experience supervising or leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong working knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM-5/ICD-11 diagnostic criteria for ADHD.
• Familiarity with remote/digital assessment models.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable with clinical risk management and complex case formulation.
• Highly organised, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Experience working in private healthcare or startup/digital health environments.
• Previous involvement in CQC preparation or audit processes.
• Knowledge of wider neurodivergent conditions (e.g. autism, anxiety, trauma-informed care).
