Job description

Seeking permanent team members to work either full-time or part-time, fully remote within the UK, with a starting salary from £55k to £60k.

Main duties of the job

You will:

• Assess adults and young people for ADHD, considering differential and/or co-occurring conditions to make diagnostic decisions using your clinical judgement and experience to formulate and implement client treatment plans.
• Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings/case discussions.
• Ensure that clients' interests are fully considered within their treatment plans, ensuring active participation in ethical, shared decision-making, utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Keep accurate and timely client records on the clinical platform. Write professional reports within expected timeframes. Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.
• Make recommendations on additional assessments or interventions required for the client within the report.
• Work closely with senior leadership on the development of ADHD pathways.
• Provide consultation and training to staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.
• Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC).

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions on practice
• Registered nurse or allied health professional with experience in assessing and diagnosing ADHD
• Knowledge of ADHD treatments
• Ability to manage caseload effectively and accurately
• Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, research, and developments in ADHD
• Experience working with both children, young people, and adults with ADHD is preferred
• Knowledge of screening tools (e.g., DIVA, ADHD-RS, Conners) is advantageous
