Job Title: Addictions Therapist – New Residential Recovery Service

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: North West London - onsite

Contract Type: Permanent

Qualifications: BACP Accredited (or due to qualify within 12 months)

Summary:

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading mental health and addiction provider in the launch of an innovative new residential service based in North West London.

This non-clinical, therapy-led setting offers immersive support for individuals recovering from both substance and behavioural addictions. Programmes run over 14, 28, or 42 days and combine structured therapy, community connection, and practical life skills to promote meaningful, long-term recovery.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Addictions Therapist to join the service and contribute to its development from day one. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a trauma-informed, non-12-step recovery model that puts client autonomy and holistic care at the heart of everything it does.

Your Role at a Glance:

As an Addictions Therapist, you’ll work closely with clients through every step of their recovery journey. You’ll deliver both 1:1 and group therapy sessions that support emotional wellbeing, promote resilience, and help prevent relapse.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and collaborative therapeutic approaches.

  • BACP Accredited (or working towards with accreditation expected within 12 months)
  • Proven experience delivering therapy in addiction, recovery, or mental health settings
  • Experienced in facilitating both group and individual sessions

  • Friendly, proactive and team-oriented approach to client care
