Job Title: Addictions Therapist – New Residential Recovery Service

Job Details:

• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Location: North West London - onsite
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Qualifications: BACP Accredited (or due to qualify within 12 months)

Summary:

Compass Associates is partnering with a leading mental health and addiction provider to launch an innovative residential service in North West London. This non-clinical, therapy-led setting offers immersive support for individuals recovering from substance and behavioural addictions, with programmes lasting 14, 28, or 42 days, combining therapy, community engagement, and life skills.

Your Role:

As an Addictions Therapist, you will work closely with clients through their recovery journey, delivering individual and group therapy sessions to support emotional wellbeing, resilience, and relapse prevention. The role emphasizes harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and collaborative therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices

Candidate Requirements:

• BACP Accredited (or working towards accreditation expected within 12 months)
• Experience in addiction, recovery, or mental health therapy
• Skilled in facilitating both group and individual sessions
• Passionate about trauma-informed, person-centred care
• Friendly, proactive, team-oriented approach
