Applicants should have completed a Level 4 qualification, with a passion for and understanding of 12 Step Philosophy and recovery communities. Professional boundaries, effective communication, and willingness to learn in an intensive environment are essential.

The Addictions Counsellor will work within an interdisciplinary team across a 7-day week, including evening on-call arrangements. Responsibilities include facilitating group psychotherapy, individual counselling, case management, psychoeducational sessions, motivational support, and introducing clients to the 12-step philosophy and mutual aid.
You will also liaise with family members, facilitate family work, and help families understand addiction impacts and access support. Attention to security, health, safety, and risk management is vital.
