Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Addiction Therapist for an exceptional mental health hospital in the Southgate area of North London. The role delivers evidence-based treatments for substance and behavioural addictions, following NICE guidelines, and requires a Level 5 Diploma in counselling or relevant addictions qualification with BABCP accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least Level 5 Diploma in counselling or relevant addictions qualification with BABCP accreditation.
• Experience delivering addiction treatment to adults (substance and behavioural addictions).
• Knowledge of the 12 Step Recovery model and ability to deliver group therapy with empathy and strong organisational skills.
• Skilled in both group facilitation and one-to-one therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychological treatments for substance and behavioural addictions following NICE guidelines.
• Develop collaborative, person-centred formulations and treatment plans tailored to individual needs, involving families where appropriate.
• Build therapeutic relationships to support patient engagement and recovery.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and professional communication.
