ADAS Director - Autonomous Driving systems

Are you looking for a new position? Do you have extensive experience in Autonomous Driving systems and ADAS?

I am currently working with one of my clients who are a new, software‑electrical‑biased company looking to break into the automotive market. They are currently searching for an ADAS Director - Autonomous Driving systems to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be based within the electrical team working onsite at the production plant in Bristol.

Duration: Permanent

Location: Bristol or London.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of automotive hardware modules and software deliverables.
• Drive the talent acquisition of the automotive technical team.
• Ensure customer and market requirements are mapped and executed upon in automotive products.
• Define the selection of outsourced resource partners, develop the relationship, framework and capability of partners including a clear performance management process.

Experience

• 5 years of Director of Development or equivalent for ADAS and/or Autonomous Driving systems or ADAS‑related sensing systems at a Tier 2, Tier 1 or OEM.
• Extensive experience of hardware and software integration and product delivery in ADAS specifically.
• Experience leading a technical team through an automotive tier 1 ADAS ECU development cycle is preferred. Will consider a senior engineer with relevant ECU technical development work history in a tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
• An experienced automotive leader of direct and indirect teams.
• Experienced in an OEM or tier one with a high level of systems technical knowledge.
