Job summary

Carbon 60, Inc. in Bristol is seeking a Software Engineer (ADA) with strong ADA development and integration testing expertise to join a defence and engineering organisation.

You will contribute to development, integration, verification and validation of mission-critical software in a secure, regulated environment. The role involves on-site work in Bristol/Filton, with a 12-month contract length and a £70 per hour umbrella rate.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing software in ADA.
• Experience using AdaCore toolsets.
• UML and Rhapsody experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify software using ADA and associated toolsets.
• Conduct software integration, verification and validation activities.
• Perform testing and debugging on target hardware platforms.
• Work with complex simulation environments to validate software functionality.
• Support the full software engineering lifecycle from design through to test and delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve software and integration issues.
• Ensure software solutions meet quality, performance and compliance requirements.
