Job summary

Timpson Ltd is seeking an Ad-hoc Van Driver (Holiday & Sickness Cover) in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas. The role is zero hours with flexible hours to cover holidays and sickness, delivering and collecting garments to the Dry Cleaning Hub with care and professionalism.

Ideal candidates will hold a full, clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months and be reliable, flexible, and customer-service oriented.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
• Flexible and dependable with ad-hoc availability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver garments safely to and from the Dry Cleaning Hub.
• Handle customer items with care and ensure secure transport.
• Maintain records of collections and deliveries as required.
• Comply with road laws, regulations and company policies.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices.
• Adapt to changing workload or delivery schedules.
• Support the Hub team with ad-hoc duties.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations.
