Pearson Edexcel is seeking a credible specialist for T Level Sciences (Chemistry) to support centres in England. This ad-hoc role (about 2 days/month) focuses on guidance, resource creation, and stakeholder engagement to inform Pearson product teams.

Qualifications

  • Essential degree or equivalent in a related scientific discipline.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  • Experience with T Level Science or related content development.
  • Understanding of Level 3 science education and practical skills.
  • Ability to review content and provide constructive specialist feedback.
  • Experience with T Level Science occupational specialisms.

Responsibilities

  • Centre visits/Zoom/telephone support to guide centres through the T Level Chemistry qualifications.
  • Provide guidance on endorsed titles and create teaching resources as required.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings and inform product teams with market information.
  • Advise on training materials, resources and administration with the senior team.
  • Run online events and engage with teacher groups on social media as Pearson's voice.
  • Model outstanding pedagogy in the endorsed title.
