Job summary

Randstad UK, Croydon, is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for flexible, ad hoc cover across the school day. You will support pupils with diverse learning needs, working closely with qualified teachers to deliver high-quality academic and emotional support in a safe, inclusive environment.

Hours: 8:20 AM – 4:15 PM. You must have Full eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not offered for this role), GCSEs 4/C or above in English and Maths, and an Enhanced DBS registered on the

Qualifications

• Full eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to undergo one.
• Experience working with students with SEN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic and emotional support for pupils with SEN.
• Help create an inclusive and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt activities daily.
• Provide flexible coverage across ad hoc days.
