Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in Derby is seeking an experienced Acute Medicine Consultant to join the Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC). You will provide direct clinical care across MAU, mSDEC and in-reach to the Emergency Department at the Royal Derby Hospital, working 1:6 weekends.

You will work with a team of junior doctors, ACPs and MDT colleagues, alongside specialty consultants delivering care within urgent pathways and

• Provide direct clinical care to patients across MAU, mSDEC and in-reach to the Emergency Department at Royal Derby Hospital.
• Contribute to Consultant shifts in SDEC as part of rota commitments.
• Collaborate with junior doctors, ACPs and MDTs to maintain high standards of patient care.
