Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Acute Inpatients Occupational Therapist for the Exeter area. This ongoing, full-time locum position offers an hourly rate of £27.00 and a chance to advance clinical skills within a supportive team.

You will assess, treat and advise patients with acute and complex needs, work within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to service development while covering on-call and weekend duties as required.

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients and their carers, focusing on acute and chronic care cases.
• Handle a varied caseload including complex disabilities and terminal care cases.
• Work autonomously and sometimes independently, integrating therapy input into overall care plans.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team in an acute setting.
• Supervise, train, and support junior staff and students, enhancing their professional development.
• Participate in service development with managers, ensuring equitable care across the Trust.
• Engage in on-call and weekend duties as required, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
