Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join a multidisciplinary team delivering acute, patient-centred care across our hospitals and community services. You will work under supervision to perform delegated clinical tasks, including patient observations, personal care, nutrition support, and safe environment maintenance.

Applicants progress from Band 2 to Band 3 via the New to Care training, with progression after successful completion.

Qualifikationen

• Completed Care Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Literacy, numeracy and English communication skills.
• Bedside Emergency Assessment Course for HCSWs (BEACH) or willingness to undertake.
• Further qualifications and training relevant to the post.
• Level 2 or 3 Health Care qualification/apprenticeship or Band 3 Excellence competencies existing for Band 2.

Aufgaben

• Exchange factual information with patients to aid understanding and support RNs/RNAs.
• Maintain professional relationships within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Undertake training relevant to the post and keep mandatory training up to date.
• Undertake the Trust induction within 8 weeks of starting.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow information governance policies.
