Job description

Job Title: Acute Care Specialist

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for selling wound care, orthopedics, and compression therapy products in the acute setting, covering either Yorkshire and the North East or Manchester and the North West regions.

Territory planning will be essential to maintain regular interaction and build relationships with your customers. Collaboration with other team members across the business will be key to your success.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a permanent, field-based position. You will be required to live within your territory. Extensive travel, including some overnight stays and occasional off-territory travel for meetings and conferences, will be necessary.

This role offers a hybrid working model, combining face-to-face and remote selling opportunities.

What You Will Do
  • Achieve year-on-year sales growth according to company targets.
  • Manage and grow accounts through strategic business planning.
  • Identify new business opportunities via market analysis.
  • Develop influential relationships with decision-makers.
  • Identify key opinion leaders and key accounts within your territory.
Who You Are

This role is ideally suited for an existing account manager or sales specialist with experience in the medical sector. Desirable qualities include:

  • Experience within the medical sector.
  • Knowledge of the acute care sector in your region.
  • Ability and interest in developing professional relationships.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency with IT and being tech-savvy.
