Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) seeks an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our acute team. You will manage adults with swallowing and communication needs, contributing to teaching, research and service development while engaging in CPD opportunities.

The role requires HCPC registration and an SLT degree, with an emphasis on independent patient management in an acute setting. Collaborative MDT work and ongoing professional development are key aspects of this post.

Qualifications

• Essential SLT degree and HCPC registration.
• Advanced dysphagia knowledge and communication assessment skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with patients in acute settings.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary team roles and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical service to adult inpatients with swallowing/communication problems.
• Contribute to teaching, research, audit and service development within the department.
• Engage in CPD opportunities to maintain and expand clinical knowledge.
