Job summary

The Emerald Group in Dorking, United Kingdom is hiring to develop, maintain and enhance actuarial systems and processes across teams. You will work with SQL, RAFM, Unify and other tools to support external reporting, pricing, reserving and capital calculations.

Requirements include a degree in a numerical subject and proven SQL/Excel proficiency, with RAFM, Unify, Emblem, R or Python familiarity a plus. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or other qualification in a numerical or analytical subject.
• Proven experience with SQL and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL code used for reporting to external partners.
• Develop and maintain actuarial systems used for external reporting, pricing, reserving and capital calculations across Solvency II, US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Ensure model accuracy through rigorous testing and validation.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Keep up to date on system and AI developments and share this knowledge with the actuarial teams.
