Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Actuarial SME to support a major transformation programme within a large life and pensions business in the United Kingdom. You will translate actuarial processes into platform requirements, validate designs, and ensure controls meet business expectations.

You will act as the specialist business domain representative in workshops and governance discussions, review data and process impacts, and support testing and business acceptance for the Foundation platform

Qualifications

Strong background in actuarial processes within financial services.
Experience translating business and non-functional needs into platform requirements.
Ability to assess process, data, and control impacts across complex environments.
Experience supporting testing, business acceptance, and issue resolution.
Confident representing subject-matter in design and governance forums.

Responsibilities

Translate actuarial processes and non-functional needs into platform requirements.
Validate solution suitability against business, control, and operational needs.
Represent the specialist business domain in workshops, design forums, and governance discussions.
Review process and data impacts across the end-to-end solution.
Validate assumptions, requirements, controls, and outputs.
Support prioritisation, testing, issue resolution, and formal business acceptance.
Work closely with business SMEs, technology, data, and testing teams to ensure alignment to the target solution.
