Job summary

Sanderson is assisting an insurance client in appointing a Qualified Actuary into an Actuarial Reporting Manager role. The position combines actuarial reporting, capital management and Finance transformation, ideal for an actuary seeking broader commercial exposure.

The role covers Solvency II, UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting, capital forecasting and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working offers 3 days in the office and 2 days from home across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary (Life/GI/Pensions) required.
• Strong analytical and reporting experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial and financial reporting across Solvency II, UK GAAP and US GAAP.
• Own monthly reporting, balance sheet and P&L analysis and regulatory submissions.
• Provide actuarial insight to senior stakeholders across the business.
• Support capital forecasting and wider financial management.
• Drive improvements across reporting processes, systems and methodologies.
• Contribute to major Finance transformation and change initiatives.
• Coach and support actuarial trainees and junior colleagues.
