Job summary

Data Careers Ltd is recruiting a Project Director for its Actuarial Regulation Team in Birmingham. You will work with senior leaders to deliver the organisation's annual strategy, overseeing complex actuarial standards and pensions-related initiatives.

The role demands strong leadership, deep technical pensions knowledge, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Hybrid working with office presence in Birmingham is expected.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the IFoA with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in regulation, supervision or actuarial practice at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuarial standards and pension illustrations in the UK.
• Assess effectiveness of standards through monitoring programmes.
• Provide actuarial expertise across the organisation, including support for disciplinary cases and oversight of actuarial bodies.
• Contribute to development of regulation in response to pension reforms.
