The Financial Reporting Council Limited (FRC) is seeking a Project Director to join the Actuarial Regulation Team. You will work with the Director of Actuarial Regulation and other Project Directors to deliver objectives in the annual strategy, developing technical actuarial standards and monitoring their effectiveness.

Ideal candidates will be Fellow of the IFoA with senior regulatory or consultancy experience, strong quantitative skills and excellent communication abilities to engage with

Qualifications

• Familiarity with actuarial standards and pension illustrations.
• Experience regulating or supervising actuarial work.
• Proven ability to engage with senior actuarial practitioners and regulators.

Responsabilités

• Developing technical actuarial standards and pension illustrations in the UK.
• Assessing the effectiveness of the technical actuarial standards through monitoring.
• Providing actuarial expertise to the wider FRC, including disciplinary cases and oversight of IFoA.
