Job description

Our Reserving team plays a crucial role in our evolving business, being pivotal to our financial and regulatory reporting, and essential for providing insights into our business performance. High-quality and comprehensive data are key to these processes.

The team is involved in data processing, stakeholder discussions, projections, and analysis that underpin our work. The role requires combining sound technical knowledge of data requirements for reserving processes and providing support to the Reserving team.

What you’ll spend your time doing:

  1. Ensure the robustness of data feeding into reserving processes.
  2. Identify and understand existing issues with data feeding into reserving processes.
  3. Communicate data remediation needs to IT developers.
  4. Document business requirements for small change initiatives.
  5. Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure system changes meet reserving needs.
  6. Support the reserving team during system updates.
  7. Collaborate with reserving, data, and operations teams to implement robust data controls and ensure proper reporting.
  8. Develop testing capabilities with relevant teams.
  9. Engage with other business areas to define output requirements.
  10. Ensure all data processing and system specifications are well documented.
