Job summary

Lorien is recruiting an Actuarial Analytics Lead for a leading global insurance organisation. You will shape and optimise reinsurance strategy, working with Actuarial, Risk, Finance, MI, Underwriting and external brokers. Hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office; salary up to £130,000 plus 17.5% bonus, private healthcare and life assurance, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The role offers high visibility and scope to influence strategic decisions through data-driven analysis and insight.

Qualifications

Qualified or nearly qualified actuary, or equivalent analytical experience.
Advanced analytical and modelling capabilities with Excel, R, Python or actuarial platforms.
Experience in insurance/reinsurance analytics environments.

Responsibilities

Support design, evaluation and placement of proportional and excess of loss reinsurance programmes.
Lead modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate reinsurance performance.
Assess impact of reinsurance on capital requirements and business performance.
Collaborate with Actuarial, Risk, Finance and external broker partners.
Ensure governance and regulatory alignment in reinsurance design.
