Job summary

Aon is hiring an Actuarial Analyst, Reinsurance (Nordic) to join the Nordic and Baltic reinsurance team in London. You will help clients identify and quantify risks and advise on optimal reinsurance strategies to mitigate them, working with actuaries, brokers and cat modellers.

You’ll analyse pricing structures, communicate findings to clients, and contribute to diverse international client engagements across London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg, and Prague.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in (re)insurance pricing, reserving or capital modelling.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and manipulation; expert in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas simply.
• Critical thinking - problem diagnosis and problem solving.
• Creative, innovative and logical thinking, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Working with a dynamic team of actuaries, brokers and cat modellers to brainstorm and develop solutions to our clients' problems.
• Analysing and pricing various alternative reinsurance structures to find the best fit with the client's risk appetite.

What the day will look like

In this role, your focus will be on helping our clients to identify and quantify the risks they are exposed to and advising them on the optimal reinsurance strategy to mitigate these risks.
