Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE

About the Role: Our Actuarial Department is seeking a motivated Actuary to join the Central Team in London, with flexible working benefits. The role is ideal for someone eager to learn, enjoys analyzing data, and communicating insights into claims experience.

The Central team handles Reserving, performance forecasting, and provides insights to support business decisions across the Household portfolio. Responsibilities include adapting to market changes, transformation projects, IFRS17, regulatory reporting, and opportunities to work on Motor and Capital projects through our flexible resourcing model.

If you enjoy analyzing claims drivers, explaining trends, and prefer varied daily tasks, this role offers a rewarding environment. We pride ourselves on delivering insights that enhance business performance and support wider teams.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Claims Analysis – conducting detailed investigations to explain trends.
2. Reporting – preparing quarterly and monthly reports with high-quality analysis.
3. Model Building – utilizing tools such as Power BI, Python, R.
4. Collaboration – building relationships with actuarial teams and other departments.
5. Team Culture – contributing positively within a supportive environment.
