Job summary

Radius Housing is seeking an Activity Therapist for Loughview, Holywood. This permanent, part-time role (25 hours per week) involves delivering a tailored programme of activities to promote residents’ cognitive and physical wellbeing, in collaboration with scheme staff.

Candidates should have English literacy and numeracy, be able to work as part of a team, and be willing to undertake training and register with NISCC.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and communication skills evidenced by qualification or experience.
• Numeracy skills evidenced by qualification or use in education/work environment.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training for the role.
• Willingness to register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and support services to promote resident welfare and safeguard them from harm.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver activity programmes tailored to residents’ needs, with other scheme staff.
• Promote residents’ participation in the life of the Scheme.
