Job summary

Bayford House Care Home, part of Bupa, is seeking an Activity Coordinator to design and run engaging daily activities for residents. You will manage a weekly activity planner, stay within a set budget, and organise celebrations and outings to enhance wellbeing.

You’ll work closely with care teams to tailor plans, support social media needs, and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere for residents and families alike.

The home also has independent living suites for those in need of extra support or recovering from surgery.Originally a private residence, Bayford House is set within large landscaped gardens and has been extensively modernised and refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation and care. High ceilings and period features can be enjoyed throughout the home and residents can feel relaxed and comfortable in the spacious communal rooms and lounge areas. Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all are tastefully furnished and decorated.Residents can stay for two weeks, a month or longer– however long residents or loved ones needs support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving families complete peace of mind. The home has a dedicated respite room that can be booked up to three months in advance, staff are happy to accept last-minute requests too.The independent living suites are spacious bedrooms with lounge areas, situated within Newdale Court, a part of the home that supports assisted living. There is an on-site salon, large lounge and cinema room, as well as a dining room complete with hostess service.Arts and crafts and reminiscence sessions are examples of the many activities available for residents, as are gentle gardening and sing-a-longs.
