Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is looking for an Activities Assistant in Banstead to design engaging daily schedules and coordinate activities that boost residents' wellbeing. You will help plan events, gather feedback, and report to the General Manager, working across departments to support a warm, inclusive environment.

No prior experience is required; strong communication, IT skills, and a clean driving licence are helpful, with Level 2 Social Care certification seen as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication, IT skills and a full, clean driving licence are desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation is an advantage.
• Level 2 (QCF) Supporting Activities Provision in Social Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a packed daily activity schedule catering to residents' physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Organise year-round events such as a Summer Fete.
• Gather feedback from residents and provide activity reports to the General Manager.
• Work across departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle.
