Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Banstead is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our luxury care and nursing home.

Bring enthusiasm and creativity; you will plan daily activities addressing residents’ physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs, and organise events such as the Summer Fete.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant; you will work across Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle.

Qualifications

• You don’t need experience to become an Activities Assistant; good written and verbal communication are important.
• IT skills are expected; a clean driving license is required.
• A working knowledge of health and safety legislation is a plus.
• Level 2 (QCF) in Supporting Activities Provision is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce a packed daily schedule catering to residents’ physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Organise key events throughout the year, e.g., Summer Fete.
• Provide activity reports to the General Manager; gain feedback from residents.
• Work across departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle.
