Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Huddersfield is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator to support residents through engaging activities and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.This permanent, full-time role is 30 hours per week with alternate weekends, based at The Oakes. The salary is £12.95 per hour with a supportive team and opportunities to develop in person-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to resident interests and abilities.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, social environment for all residents.
  • Support residents in maintaining hobbies and discovering new ones.
  • Organise social events, seasonal celebrations and community involvement.
  • Coordinate outings to promote wellbeing and variety.
  • Work closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing.
  • Record participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:

  • Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities

  • Supporting residents in maintaining existing hobbies and discovering new ones
  • Organising social events, seasonal celebrations, and community involvement
  • Coordinating outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety
  • Working closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing
  • Recording participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement
