Job summary

One Education Music, Manchester’s Music Service, seeks an Activities & Participation Service Lead to drive the development of Music Centres, ensembles and wider out-of-school music provision across the city.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead instructors, build partnerships, and champion inclusive access to high-quality musical opportunities for all young people.

Qualifications

• Experienced music education professional with strong leadership, project management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Passion for widening participation in music education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Music Centre ensembles, performances and out-of-school provision across Manchester.
• Support and lead music instructors and staff within the service.
• Build partnerships with schools, communities and external organisations.
• Drive service improvement and champion inclusive access to opportunities for all young people.
