Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Chorlton Place Care Home in Manchester. You will deliver engaging, person-centred activities to residents, helping promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction within a supportive team.

The role welcomes both experienced candidates and newcomers, with training provided. A caring, creative approach and ability to adapt to individual needs are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Deliver engaging, meaningful activities tailored to residents’ interests and care needs.
• Collaborate with the wider team to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Support residents, including those living with dementia, to promote wellbeing.
