Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking a caring and creative Activities Co-ordinator to join our Heathside & The Mews Care Homes in Warrington. You will plan and deliver engaging activities for older residents, including those living with dementia, to help them stay active and connected.

In this part-time role (30 hours/week), you’ll lead arts, crafts, music, games and outings, tailoring plans to individual interests and histories. Training is provided and affecting daily lives is highly rewarding.

Qualifications

• Caring, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Creativity and confidence to lead activities.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in working with elderly people and dementia.
• Previous experience in care/activities is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities reflecting residents' interests, abilities and life experiences.
• Lead group and one-to-one activities.
• Create enjoyable and meaningful experiences for older people, including those with dementia.
• Help residents stay active, connected and engaged.
