Victoria Gardens Care Home seeks an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will plan a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities, tailored to individual interests and care needs.

You will build strong relationships to understand preferences, support inclusive participation for all residents including those living with dementia, and work with the wider team to create a positive environment.

Victoria Gardens Care Home is a 25 bed care home located in the peaceful residential area of Tile Hill, on the outskirts of Coventry, West Midlands. Providing residential care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care. • £12.95-13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £12.95-13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply
