Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking an Activity Coordinator in Corby to plan and run engaging activities for residents in a care home setting. You will deliver arts and crafts, music, games, quizzes and social events, helping residents enjoy life and maintain independence.

The role requires a friendly, creative and patient approach, with excellent communication to support residents and work with care staff. It is a temp-to-perm position based in Corby, NN17 1XD.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with older people, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting.
• Friendly, creative and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise a variety of activities based around residents' interests and abilities.
• Deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, music, games, quizzes and social events.
• Encourage residents to participate and promote their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Work alongside care staff to ensure activities are appropriate to individual needs and abilities.
