Job summary

Ty Llandaff Care Home in Portcanna, Cardiff, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life by delivering engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will plan group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs, building strong relationships with residents, including those living with dementia.

Our luxury care home in Portcanna, Cardiff, offers exceptional Nursing and Residential care for 69-residents, providing a refined and comfortable environment where personalized care and elegant living come together Activities Coordinator Contract £13.52 per hour Contracted to 32 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs.

Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected.

This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
