Job summary

Avon Search in Cardiff is seeking an outgoing Activities Coordinator to run a programme of events for residents in a friendly elderly nursing home. You will plan, organise and oversee activities 35 hours per week, with pay of £13.55 per hour.

The role focuses on socialisation, physical activity and mental stimulation, requires prior senior care experience and strong communication with residents, families and staff. DBS check provided; great training and career progression available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home settings essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Knowledge of mental health problems care practices and techniques desirable
