What's happening at Exemplar Health Care

A fantastic achievement to celebrate!

Last week, one of our residents made her own lunch - her first time cooking in three years ️

Taking that step has given her a real sense of pride, and it’s brilliant to see her confidence grow

Moments like this are what our care is all about - supporting people to achieve things that matter to them

Who better to talk about person-centred care than someone who experiences it every day?

Adam, one of our Service User Ambassadors, recently joined the induction at our brand new home, Leger Grove, to meet the new team and share his experiences of living in one of our care homes

He answered questions, shared insights, and helped our new colleagues understand just how important personalised care is - and how much of a difference they can make

A huge thank you to Adam for helping to shape the future of care at Leger Grove - and to our new team, who are full of enthusiasm and ready to make a real impact

Greenside Court - Exemplar Health Care

Friendships are an important part of every day life. They bring joy, laughter and support when we need it most

Recently, Alex moved to Maypole Grove to be nearer family, a move that she was nervous for.

In steps Abi ️

Abi is the home's Service User Ambassador, and was a huge support to Alex throughout the move. Now, they're inseparable!

"My friendship with Alex has changed me as a person. Her confidence and personality has already had an impact and had me doing things I never thought I would - such as singing on the karaoke at the social club!”

And Alex values their friendship just as much: "She's a good listener as well as a laugh to be around. It's lovely to have a friend like Abi."

We can't wait to see how their friendship blossoms

Dan brought the rainbow to Pride!

Wearing his brightest colours and biggest smile, Dan joined the local Pride parade and loved every minute of it

We’re proud to support people to live life their way - and to be part of events that matter to them.

Here’s to being proud of who you are, today and every day ️

Glory, Glory, Man United!

Residents at Bennett Court - Exemplar Health Care scored a goal with a special visit to Old Trafford, the iconic home of the Red Devils ️

In a behind the scenes tour they were taken from pitch side, to the trophy room, and everyone loved every moment soaking up the legendary atmosphere ️

Thanks to Manchester United for an unforgettable day.

A magical afternoon tea adventure with Acer Mews

Our very own Queen of Hearts headed to Manchester for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Richmond Tea Rooms ️

Dressed to impress in her custom dress, she stepped right into Alice's world of wonderland and loved every moment.

Her smile said it all ️

Mel and Ricky’s dream day out

Greenside Court visited Wentworth Woodhouse for a Classic Car Show last week.

Mel and Ricky were in their element surrounded by amazing cars, they enjoyed lunch and an ice cream to top it off

But the best part? Mel had a lovely surprise spotting his son’s car, and saw some family and his old mechanic! Ricky also made a new friend – what a day
