Job summary

Care UK in Surbiton is seeking an Activities Lead to spark engagement and enjoyment for residents in a 39-bed nursing and dementia home. You will plan and run diverse activities that are fun, stimulating and accessible to all residents, with an emphasis on person-centred care.

The role focuses on interpersonal skills, preparation, and the ability to energise residents’ daily lives. Prior care experience isn’t mandatory, as we welcome applicants with enthusiasm and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver activities and ideas that bring joy, stimulation and social engagement to residents.
• Plan and lead engaging daily and weekend activities across the home.
• Work with residents to tailor activities to abilities and interests.
